Now if you want to have your printers on a network that is not shared with your Wi-Fi network, it is possible. Presto will take an AirPrint job and do whatever is needed to output it to the Windows printer. Presto (formerly Fingerprint I think: Opens a new window) allows you to setup a Windows computer as an AirPrint server. (Uses Bonjour/mDNS) If you don't have an AirPrint printer, don't despair. Two key points: The printer must support AirPrint and the AirPrint enabled devices need to be on the same (broadcast) network. If a printer supports AirPrint and is on the same network as an iOS device, the iOS device will see the printer and be able to print. Basically it's a way for printers to present themselves to an iOS device and gives a standard way for iOS devices to print without the need for multiple gigabytes worth of printer drivers. AirPrint is a proprietary Apple technology for printing from iOS devices. When you say air print, you mean wireless? I'm not up on my Mac syntax.Not quite. this will make it easier then trying to plug in your iPad every time you want to transfer a file.I am not a fan of Google, but it will work in your situation. you should try and use a web based solution for editing files.
